Gael Garcia Bernal has signed up to star in Brazilian director Hector Babenco’s next film, O Pasado – which translates to The Past.
The story, based on the novel by Argentinean writer Alan Pauls follows a couple who decide to split up after 12 years. When the man (Bernal) moves on, his ex-partner hounds him and the women in his life.
