It looks as though Sixth Sense star** Hayley Joel Osment** is aiming for a bit of wish fulfilment if the latest Harry Potter rumours are anything to go by. According to a UK newspaper, Oscar-nominated Osment is in the running for the role of the - very English - apprentice wizard, despite the fact that the film still lacks a director. But the news, which didn't offer a source, may be misinterpretation from Osment himself, who's made it very clear that he'd love to get his hands on J.K. Rowling's creation.
And according to Harry Potter's casting agent, nothing's happened on the Potter front since Christmas. "Clearly [Osment] is a very talented young actor," says Susie Figgis of Susie Figgis Casting, "but my brief to date has been to find an English boy."
