Just a few minutes ago, the nominations for the 78th Annual Academy Awards were announced in Los Angeles. The big news is that Brokeback Mountain is up for eight categories, with Good Night, And Good Luck and Crash close behind with 6.
Capote took five nominations, as did Munich which finally picks up some love and Walk The Line. The Constant Gardener and Pride and Prejudice both get four. **Memoirs of A Geisha picked up six nods, although all were in the technical categories, **and was closely followed there by King Kong with four and The Chronicles of Narnia and War of the Worlds with three each.
