Jack Black’s getting some company in his animated comedy Kung Fu Panda.
We’ve already told you that Black’s playing Po the Panda, a lazy slob who ends up having to save his friends from some powerful enemies. And now those enemies – as well as some comrades – have a voice.
Ian McShane, currently swearing up a storm on TV’s Deadwood, will add his larynx to Tai Lung, a villainous Snow Leopard intent on destroying Po’s peaceful village. Dustin Hoffman’s playing Shifu, a tough-as-nails kung fu master who has to train Po. Jackie Chan’s voicing Master Monkey, the village’s greatest warrior. Finally, Lucy Liu will be the voice of Master Viper, a champion fighter.
