Zeta-Jones courted for Spielberg's latest

Catherine Zeta-Jones must be tickled pink by the run of good luck she's had recently. Not only does she have a shiny, golden bald man (often referred to as an Oscar) to parade in front of friends and family but she's now been offered a part in Steven Spielberg's latest project. Terminal stars Tom Hanks as Victor, a Balkan immigrant who finds himself the unwilling resident of an airport departure lounge after war in his country shifts borders, leaving him with a void passport and no homeland to speak of. At a loss for what to do (well, you would be, wouldn't you?) Victor befriends the airport staff and develops more than a passing interest in Zeta-Jones' sultry flight attendant. Bernie Mac is also poised to take a part, starring as a guy who operates the baggage carousel but gets involved in some dodgy dealings on the side. Returning both Spielberg and Hanks to the airport so oft-frequented in Catch Me If You Can, the film is a curious one to be sure but, given who's involved, it's not like we're going to be disappointed. Life won't be boring on set either, between the three of them, Zeta-Jones, Hanks and Spielberg can play happy families with their Oscar statuettes between takes.
