Another day, another Martin Freeman trailer. Following yesterday's spy thrillerThe Operative, we now get to see a different side of the actor in the rom-com Ode To Joy. Freeman co-stars with Morena Baccarin and Melissa Rauch, with Modern Family's Jason Winer the director. Check out the first trailer below.

As you'll just have seen, Freeman plays Charlie, who suffers from a type of narcolepsy that causes sudden bouts of paralysis whenever he experiences strong emotions, especially joy. He develops a variety of techniques to deny himself too much pleasure and happiness, but they're put to the ultimate test when he falls in love...

The screenplay by The Colbert Report's Max Werner is inspired by a true story previously broadcast on WBEZ Chicago's This American Life slot. Ode To Joy played the Edinburgh International Film Festival last month, but awaits a wider release date.
