In 2016, Brit Marling and co-creator Zal Batmanglij launched The OA, a mysterious new show dealing with abduction, unusual powers, weird hand gestures and a dangerous Jason Isaacs. Season 2 – sorry, Part II – is finally on the way and wraps more storylines into the show. Check out the trailer...

Marling returns as Prairie Johnson, who in the new episodes has used the power of the group she met to transport herself and others into a new dimension. In part 2, she's experiencing life as an alternate version of herself, one who is rich and never went through the traumatic times at the hands of Isaacs' Dr. Percy. She'll have to team up with a cynical private eye (Kingsley Ben-Adir) to investigate the disappearance of a young woman with disturbing similarities to what she herself went through.

Meanwhile, back in her original reality, her disciples continue to wrap their heads around what happened to them all. Isaacs, Patrick Gibson and Phyllis Smith are among those returning for this new run, which will land as one eight-episode block on Netflix on 22 March.
