He's had to deal with hungry wolves in** The Grey **and shouty Daenerys on Game Of Thrones, but Nonso Anozie is unbowed. He’s now signed to for a role in Jack Ryan.
The latest outing for the Ryan franchise, which turns the clock back again to Jack's post-Marine / pre-CIA analyst days and finds Chris Pine as the man in question, is now shooting.
Kenneth Branagh is both behind the camera as director and in front of it as the movie’s big villain, Viktor Cherevin, a Russian oligarch who buys a London newspaper and football team is secretly involved in a plan to fund terrorists.
Kevin Costner will be William Harper, Ryan’s CIA handler who helps him when our hero decides to try to stop the Ruskie’s plan, Keira Knightley is on as his fiancée, Cathy Muller, and Peter Andersson has the role of security agent Dimitri Lemkov. Anozie’s part is being kept quiet for now, though the IMDB has him listed as Embee.
Jack Ryan will be flitting between Moscow, New York and London for its shoot, working from a script by David Koepp, among others.
Anozie has most recently finished work on Ender’s Game, which will arrive here on October 25, 2013.
