Noah Wyle has spent years playing doctor on US medical drama ER, but unlike some of his cast mates, he never directed an episode.
But now he’s decided that’s what he really wants to do – though he’s not starting with TV. Nope, the man formerly known as John Carter is jumping straight into films, signing on to make indie rom com Prince Test.
With a script by Rachel Weinhaus (and polished by occasional ER actor JP Manoux), the plot finds a female private eye checking up on engaged or married men via unusual tactics. There’s no cast attached yet.
