Just over a month before No Time To Die hits the big screen, we have a new look at the movie – not a full trailer, but a behind-the-scenes video that shares some new tantalising glimpses of Daniel Craig’s final James Bond outing. Not only that, but it includes director Cary Joji Fukunaga talking about the film and promising big things for 007’s next adventure. With new stunts, the iconic Bond-shoots-the-screen moment, and car-flips aplenty, watch the new quasi-teaser here.

There are some interesting things to point out from what Fukunaga says here – particularly hyping up the villain. “Now there’s someone new out there, more dangerous than anyone he’s ever encountered. And whoever they are is smarter and stronger than Spectre,” the filmmaker promises. Presumably he’s talking about Rami Malek’s Safin, the mysterious facially-scarred baddie who sounds set to put Bond through his paces. The director also tees up a little more plot – with Bond coming out of retirement after five years living the quiet life to face an evil that threatens the people closest to him. “From the moment he’s called to action to the end of the film, it’s a race,” he promises. “Not only to save the world, but their lives.”

We’ll find out exactly what that all means when No Time To Die hits UK cinemas on 2 April 2020. In the meantime, pick up the new issue of Empire which comes with bonus magazine Bond: The Ultimate Celebration – a 56-page publication that delves deep into the world of the iconic super-spy.
