Kim Bauer Returns: Yes, the imperilled and exasperating star of 24 will return to the big screen after her sultry debut in The Girl Next Door. Elisha Cuthbert will join the cast of Jaume Collet-Serra's House of Wax, a remake of the 1953 horror film. The film focuses on an insane professor who uses human bodies covered in wax in his museum. Cuthbert will play one of the teens who becomes a potential victim. Running, screaming and being utterly unable to defend herself? At least it's familiar territory. Leather's Back In: As, indeed, is PVC, tight-fitting bodices and drinking people's blood. Underworld 2 is set to begin shooting in the Autumn with the battle between vamps and werewolves kicking off anew. Kate Beckinsale returns as death-dealer Selene with Len Wiseman back behind the camera. Little else is known though as the script won't be finished until early April. Bennifer Wedding Excised: Kevin Smith has apparently made the decision to cut the wedding of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez's characters from his upcoming Jersey Girl. Schrader Snubbed: He was spanked, replaced as director and sent on his way but now, it appears, not one frame of Paul Schrader's footage will appear in Exorcist: The Beginning.
