A New War of the Worlds Trailer!

Our first glimpses of the Martian machines

There's been something of a theme to our news stories today, as the trailers put together to debut with Revenge of the Sith debut online. And in this case, there's no question that the best was saved for last, as we get a fresh peek at Spielberg's War of the Worlds, and find ourselves more excited than an astrodroid with a new jetpack. The trailer opens with little Tommy Cruise, apparently looking us straight in the eye, and saying, "You gotta keep your eyes on me. You're gonna want to look around, but you're not going to, are you?" Cue Dakota looking frightened. Then, once again, we see the crowds of refugees in flight, we see them on the ferry glimpsed in previous trailers, and then there's only time for Tom to call his daughter's name before we're into the wham-bam-was-that-a-Martian action sequence. The boat turns on its side (think Titanic without the two hours of Enya first) and then the water's full of metallic tentacles, coiling around its unfortunate passengers. Then it's all glimpses
