With Steve Conrad and Jack Thorne adapting R.J. Palacio's bestselling book, Wonder finds Tremblay as August "Auggie" Pullman. Born with facial differences, he's been through a number of painful surgeries to alleviate his various conditions and has lived most of his life to date being home schooled.
Now, though, he's ready to confront the challenges of his peers, and finds that compassion and acceptance aren't always easy to come by. But he ends up with friends regardless and learns that you can't really blend in when you're born to stand out.
Stephen Chbosky is the director here, and the film arrives in UK cinemas on 1 December following a 17 November launch in the States.
