Woody Allen is back with his yearly feature offering, and it's clear from this new trailer for **Whatever Works that this is one of his comedy outings rather than another dramatic piece.
The film stars Curb Your Enthusiasm's Larry David as an aging, cynical, intellectual New Yorker (remind you of anyone?) who talks directly to camera about his failing marriage and new roommate Melodie (Evan Rachel Wood), who's run away from her religious parents (Patricia Clarkson and Ed Begley Jr.) who soon follow her to the Big Apple. And so on.
All the word on this one is that it's Allen on form, so fingers crossed. Expect to see this later in the summer, but there's no UK release date as yet.
