After trying for a few years to get this one set up and shooting, Warren Beatty is about to unveil his story of unexpected love, 1950s Hollywood and the man and legend that is Howard Hughes. Check out the new trailer for Rules Don't Apply.
The main story is actually about young, ambitious driver Frank Forbes (Alden Ehrenreich), who starts working for Hughes in the hopes that he can convince the bizarre billionaire to back his business venture. But when Frank meets aspiring actress Marla Mabrey (Lily Collins) and starts to fall for her despite their restrictive religious backgrounds and Hughes' rules on dating the performers he has under contract, things become complicated.
This latest trailer shifts the focus back towards Beatty's Hughes a little, exploring how his unusual practices affect those around him. With Annette Bening, Martin Sheen and Alec Baldwin also in the cast, Rules Don't Apply lands in the UK on 27 January.
