Angela Robinson's biopic of the man – and women – behind the creation of Wonder Woman in comicbook form, Professor Marston And The Wonder Women is headed to screens soon. And, fresh off the film's panel at the New York Comic-Con this weekend, a new trailer is online.

Luke Evans plays Harvard grad Dr William Moulton Marston, the man who conjured up DC’s Amazonian princess in 1941. However, Marston didn’t envisage her alone, owing the character to two very important women: both of whom he lived and had children with at the same time. Rebecca Hall is his wife, Elizabeth Holloway Marston (who assisted William in constructing the lie-detecting systolic blood-pressure test), with Bella Heathcote as the pair’s partner, Olive Byrne.

While even his family weren't sure about the concept for Wonder Woman when he first explained it, Marston had a far bigger fight on his hands with those who saw its themes as morally degenerate.

Professor Marston And The Wonder Women will be on US screens this week, and arrives in the UK on 10 November.
