You might have seen our recent exclusive interview with Host and now The Boogeyman director Rob Savage about his leap from POV horror to adapting Stephen King. If that made you eager to see more of the new movie, you're in luck: the next trailer is online.

The script is adapted from King's story (originally published in Cavalier magazine in 1973 before it featured in the author's 1978 collection Night Shift) by A Quiet Place duo Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, with additional work from Mark Heyman.

The Boogeyman follows high school student Sadie Harper (Sophie Thatcher) and her younger sister Sawyer (Obi-Wan Kenobi's Vivien Lyra Blair) are reeling from the recent death of their mother and aren’t getting much support from their father, Will (Chris Messina), a therapist who is dealing with his own pain. When a desperate patient unexpectedly shows up at their home seeking help, he leaves behind a terrifying supernatural entity that preys on families and feeds on the suffering of its victims.

Get ready for some fresh terror when The Boogeyman lands in UK cinemas on 2 June.
