You won't exactly uncover a lot of story in the new trailer for the latest Divergent film, Allegiant, but then the previous promo covered that. Still, take a look at the latest batch of footage from the film.
Tris, Four (Theo James) and their ragtag group of friends, enemies and undecideds having won their battle against the machinations of Erudite faction leader Jeanine (Kate Winslet). They’ve discovered, thanks to Tris’ ability to unlock a message, that their shattered, dystopian Chicago is not the final refuge for the human race, but was used as an experiment to develop divergents such as our heroine. As for what she can do to save the wider world is a mystery, but she’ll learn more from the mysterious Bureau of Genetic Welfare, which includes new franchise face Jeff Daniels as David.
Mostly this trailer is about Tris and the rest discovering that world beyond the wall, and, as Four exclaims at one point, it's not quite what it seems. Oh, and it appears in the quest for scientific purity, our heroes must cast off their clothes and stand around in the altogether for some GIF-bait shower scenes. As you do.
