Storks

Our first look at new CG animated comedy Storks was more of a short comedy piece that introduced the classic idea of the birds as a baby delivery system. A new, brief trailer pushes beyond that to offer some additional plot and some of the cast.

Storks finds Kelsey Grammer as Hunter, the proud CEO of Stork Island, who has diversified, switching the Storks' primary job away from babies and into delivering packages for a huge internet retailer. But when Junior (Andy Samberg), who is poised to be the next boss, accidentally switches on the baby-making machinery, creating an unauthorised baby girl, he and his best friend Tulip (Katie Crown) must see that she finds a good home before anyone discovers what has happened. But that won't be so easy...

Running parallel to that is the idea of a boy who wants nothing more in the world than a baby brother, much to the consternation of his parents. Could these two stories end up overlapping? Chances are good...

With Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele and Danny Trejo also in the cast, Storks comes from Nicholas Stoller and Pixar veteran Doug Sweetland. It'll land in the UK on October 14.
