You've made the first film, established all the characters, racked in a motza at the box office and now it's time for the sequel. Where do you go with it? That's the challenge facing Carlos Saldanha on** Rio 2**, which has a new teaser trailer (below). Does he take his feathery hero Blu (Jesse Eisenberg) back to the nest like Madagascar 2 or, to a lesser extent, The Godfather 2, or kick on to new climes like Ice Age 2?
The official synopsis indicates a little of both. The story will see Jewel (Anne Hathaway) deciding that her chicks need to embrace the wild and live like real birds, prompting a family trip into the wild of the Amazon basin. And, hey, what could possibly go wrong there?
In keeping with animated teasers the world over, you won't find too many clues in this first-look trailer, although you will find Jesse Eisenberg's feathery hero and pals, including Tracy Morgan's slobbery bulldog, Luiz, partying it up. Oh, and Jemaine Clement's hilariously sinister cockatoo, Nigel.

It's not Ice Age: Continental Drift money but it's still a huge endorsement of Saldanha's newest roster of characters. Completing the **Rio 2 **voicecast are Anne Hathaway, Jamie Foxx and Leslie Mann. It flaps into cinemas on April 4, 2014.
