It’s clearly the week for guns, blood and explosions as the first images from Resident Evil: Afterlife have arrived online, and while there’s not much exploding (except for one fireball), there are plenty of guns on display.
Directed by RE overlord Paul WS Anderson, in 3D, the latest outing promises everything that fans of the series could want – lots of Milla Jovovich’s Alice kicking ass, Ali Larter’s Claire Redfield being tough, and some nasty new creatures, including The Executioner, who you can see in one of the pics, and who is straight out of the fifth Resident Evil game.
New to the franchise are Prison Break’s Wentworth Miller, as Chris Redfield, one of the most iconic game characters (and Claire’s brother), and Shawn Roberts (spot him in the shot with the flying shades), taking over the role of the evil Albert Wesker.
