Coming Soon has a new poster for The Duchess, the upcoming period film starring Keira Knightley as Georgiana Spencer, Duchess of Devonshire. You can see a larger version by clicking the image below.
The official synopsis seems to rather play down Spencer's achievements, pushing to the fore her image as an 'It girl', adored by the country for her glamour. The fact that she was getting involved in world politics decades before suffrage is something of an afterthought. Hopefully that's just misguided marketing and doesn't reflect the end product, which could be extremely interesting.
