The lady with the giggity-giggity glasses is up-and-coming rock star Hayley (Emily Browning). She's caught in an agonising downward turn when her band mate and brother dies of a drug overdose. His replacement as the band's guitarist is the mysterious Enzo (The Twilight Saga: Eclipse's Samuel), who arrives with a giant bag filled with handsomeness and guitar riffs, and proceeds to set Hayley's world upside down. But like many mysterious strangers, he may just turn out to be a raving lunatic offering her a lot more than she bargained, or indeed hoped, for.
Gigandet, meanwhile, is playing Carter, Browning's hot jounalist hubby. **Plush **is being billed as an 'erotic thriller', a term teleported in from 1993, but with Hardwicke behind the camera and co-writer on the script (with How to Make It In America's Arty Nelson), the expectation would be for something considerably less brash and lurid than your typical Eszterhas.
**Plush **has a US release set for September 13. No word on its UK launch as yet.
