We've seen a few leaked images of a run-down looking Muppet studio lot, but here's an official promo pic of Jason Segel and a few of his Muppet co-stars in the still untitled but previously temporarily monikered Greatest Muppet Movie Ever Made. We like that name, but maybe it's asking for trouble.
What we've got here looks like Segel, Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy poring over a script. Sweetums is lurking in the background, on what looks to be a set under construction. But it's Bunsen Honeydew and his hapless assistant Beaker that drew our eye. What's going on there? Beaker's on a stepladder, with Bunsen looking on giving instructions. But what's Beaker holding? A paintbrush? A screwdriver? A thermometer? A bit of set that's come away in his hand? Whatever it is, he looks alarmed. But then, he kind of always does.
The Muppets' frankly ridiculous cast list currently stretches to Amy Adams, Chris Cooper, Rashida Jones, Alan Arkin, Jack Black, Billy Crystal, Zach Galifianakis, Kathy Griffin, Ricky Gervais, Emily Blunt, and Jean-Claude Van-Damme. Flight of the Conchords' James Bobin is directing the chaos, and the release is slated for November.
