New Line Heads To Leisureworld

An old men behaving badly story

If you think that all retirement homes are places where the residents live out their days peacefully playing dominoes or complaining about the peas, then you’ve never visited Leisureworld.

The New Line comedy will see a burnt-out New Yorker swap his city lifestyle for what he thinks will be the quiet and calm of a Florida old people’s home. But what he finds is quite different – the residents are more like high schoolers, with drugs, sex and peer pressure the order of the day. The elderly, eh? You just can’t take your eye off ‘em for a second.

John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky are busy re-writing the script, but there’s no director attached yet.
