Most people like to think that the world revolves around them. Footballers, particularly. But what if it were really true?

That’s the focus of Johnny Rosenthal’s comedy pitch, Me, Me, Me, which New Line has just picked up. The story focuses on the world’s biggest narcissist, who wishes that everyone could be more like him. In keeping with the old saying, “be careful what you wish for”, that’s exactly what happens. Cue a living nightmare…

Shawn Levy, who last brought us The Pink Panther and is hard at work on Night At The Museum, will produce. “We all know people who think the world revolves around them," Levy tells Variety. “The idea of literalizing that wish, and all the unexpected consequences attached to it, feels like rich comic ground.” Like tiles made from clown noses, Shawn?
