If Disney's sci-fi fantasy adventure** John Carter **was any more epic David O. Selznick would return from the beyond specifically to hug all concerned. From all we've seen so far, there are epic deserts, epic citiscapes and ape-ic White Apes with man-crushing power arms, each serving as a suitably eye-popping backdrop to Taylor Kitsch's Martian heroics.
Yahoo! Movies has laid its hands on a new trailer from the movie which further foregrounds the great and good of Andrew Stanton's Edgar Rice Burroughs adaptation. Look out for Lynn Collins as Princess of Mars Dejah Thoris, Mark Strong as badster Matai Shang and a performance-captured Willem Dafoe as the green, four-armed Tars Tarkas. He had to act the part on stilts, donchayaknow, but still manages to ally with Carter against an army of nasties without so much as a teeter.
