David Fincher’s ambitious, 13-part new series House Of Cards first unleashed a trailer earlier this month. You can watch it again (or for the first time, if you somehow missed it), above. Now Netflix, which will be streaming the series in its entirety, has released a huge batch of promotional images for the series. Check them out in the gallery further down this page.

Cards is based on the 1990 BBC TV series, and has been produced by Fincher (who directs two of the episodes) and Ides Of March writer Beau Willimon.

It’ll follow the Machiavellian machinations of Francis Underwood (Kevin Spacey - and note the character's initials) a man who has charted a speedy rise through the American political machine. But when his ambitions are thwarted, he plots to destroy everyone who has wronged him as he manoeuvres to get what he wants: a shot at the president's job.

Alongside Spacey, Fincher has recruited a stellar cast that includes Robin Wright, Kate Mara, Corey Stoll, Michael Kelly, Sakina Jaffrey, Kristen Connolly, Sebastian Arcelus, Boris McGiver, Constance Zimmer, Jayne Atkinson, Michel Gill, and Reg E Cathey.

Netflix will release all the episodes as one batch on February 1 next year.
