Game Of Thrones - Jon Snow

The Game Of Thrones gang just don’t want us to let go of Jon Snow, despite his clear, unequivocal death at the en…. No, sorry – can’t keep that up. Alive, dead, supernatural, however or whenever he appears in season six, Snow hovers over this new short Thrones promo like… er… snow over… stuff. Take a look below.

Yes, it’s completely made up of footage from the previous season, with just some new voice-over courtesy of (contractual spoiler alert) the Three Eyed Raven, played by Max von Sydow and young Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright, who will return to the series now that his character’s storyline can continue beyond the books). And yes, that line about “they have no idea what’s going to happen” feels apt for a teaser and also full on trolling of book fans whose knowledge of the story is now being superseded by the show’s narrative.

But after the poster that went online last month and now this, it’s clear that the team behind the show are fully aware of how much of an obsession the whole Jon Snow thing is, and intend to keep fuelling the idea that until the series returns in April for its sixth season we all truly know…. wait for it… nothing.
