Jim Sheridan, director of In America and In The Name of the Father, has been out of the picture ever since Get Rich Or Die Tryin'. But now he's back with the rather promising-sounding Brothers, which sees Natalie Portman, Jake Gyllenhaal and Tobey Maguire in a family drama. Check it out here.

The film sees Grace Cahill (Portman) informed that her Marine husband Sam (Maguire) has been killed while serving in Afghanistan. His good-for-nothing brother Tommy (Gyllenhaal) unexpectedly steps up in his absence and takes care of his wife and children - but when romantic feelings grow between Grace and Tommy, things get complicated (the trailer will explain exactly how, so beware spoilers!).

The film's based on Susanne Bier's Brothers, and is due for release in the US on December 4, and hopefully here not long after.
