Despite having its start date thrown back to later in the year by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s recent injury, Disney’s comedy The Game Plan is still on track – and continues to score talent.
Bebe Neuwirth – best known for playing Frasier Crane’s frosty ex - and Morris Chestnut, last seen in The Cave, have signed on. Neuwirth will play Johnson’s no doubt spiky agent while Chestnut will appear as a fellow American footballer.
Directed by Andy Fickman, the film will see Johnson’s character discover he has a daughter, and how that impacts his career. Expect them to kick off as soon as The Rock’s off the crutches.
