In case you weren’t sure, Netflix are packing some serious star power these days – and you’d be hard pushed to find an upcoming project of theirs more starry than Red Notice. Featuring the triple threat of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds, it looks to be a globe-trotting, action packed adventure, all about art thievery. Watch the trailer here:
The titular red notice is an alert to hunt and capture the world’s most wanted – in this case, that’s Gadot’s femme fatale-esque criminal Sarah Black, aka. ‘The Bishop’. The pair after her are FBI Agent John Hartley (looking for vengeance after being framed by Black) and world’s second best art thief Nolan Booth (Reynolds), looking to reclaim the top spot by helping Hartley with a high stakes heist.
Expect plenty of worldly locations, witty one-liners, and, with Black Adam, Wonder Woman and Deadpool all in one room, some seriously wild action. The trailer gives us glimpses at set pieces including bullfights, missiles firing through helicopter doors, and Ryan Reynolds doing what he does best, enjoying several spoofy moments.
Red Notice is written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber (cracking name), and hits Netflix on 12 November.
