He's enjoying some box office success with The Upside, and Neil Burger has one eye on his next job. He's written and will direct a new sci-fi tale called Voyagers.

This one sounds a little like Lord Of The Flies in space, as it sees 30 children sent into space on a multi-generational mission to colonise and populate a new planet. But when the adult captain of the mission is mysteriously killed, the young crew descends into chaos, descending into primitive, tribal state of being, unleashing their more feral sides.

Basil Iwanyk is on to produce this one, with Stuart Ford's AGC Studios providing the initial funding. The Upside, meanwhile, is in UK cinemas now.
