Bill Murray, who will next be seen in Charlie's Angels, is to star in a comedy based on the true story of a hugely sucessful game show contestant, Variety reports. Michael Larsen, of Lebanon, Ohio, was made redundant in the 80s and became obsessed with the daytime game show Press Your Luck. After watching it religiously he managed to memorise the 1,300 patterns on the board. He then went on to win over $100,000 - the biggest ever payout on a daytime quiz - much to the surprise of all concerned (except Larsen). Press Your Luck, the movie, will be directed by Howard Franklin, who also wrote the script. Franklin and Murray have worked together before on Quick Change (1990) and Larger Than Life (1996).
