Murphy Heads For Space

Eddie Murphy, fresh from his box-office - if not critical - success in Dr Dolittle, is set to star in the futuristic comedy Pluto Nash. The script for the movie has apparently been doing the rounds in Hollywood for more than ten years and has only now been taken up. It seems almost like the plot of about fifty computer games, with its emphasis on a large and evil Earth based corporation which wants to take over a lunar colony. Murphy will play a space settler who leads the revolt against the capitalist running dogs. Except they probably won't put it quite like that.
