James McAvoy has picked up a quality teacher to train him in the ways of the assassin for Universal’s Wanted.
The comic book adaptation, which Night Watch’s Timur Bekmambetov is preparing to direct, will feature Morgan Freeman as Sloan, the chief killer for hire who shows McAvoy’s put-upon assassin’s son the tricks of the trade.
With a script from the combined writing talent behind the last two The Fast And The Furious films, Wanted should kick off shooting early next year.
