It's been a little more than a month since we learned that Arnold Schwarzenegger would be headed to TV for a new, untitled spy adventure series featuring a father and a daughter. Arnie's obviously the former, but now we know that Monica Barbaro is in the latter role.
The show was created by Scorpion veteran Nick Santora and the actual plot details are being kept in the sort of vault that Schwarzenegger and his new screen daughter may end up breaking into. All we know so far is that it's a globe-trotting spy series with the potential for family tension along the lines of True Lies.
Given Skydance's involvement in the show, it's perhaps not surprising that Barbaro, who has a part in the company film arm's Top Gun: Maverick (now due 8 July 2021), would pop up here. The show still doesn't have a home, but it's certainly moving ahead.
