Anyone wondering just what Minnie Driver was doing in London when she turned up for the premiere of High Fidelity need wonder no more. She's been rehearsing for a new movie that starts shooting in London on 17 July. High Heels and Low Lifes is a black comedy heist caper, to be directed by Mel Smith. Driver plays a wannabe actress, Mary McCormack appears as a nurse and the film will also star Human Traffic's Danny Dyer and Mark Williams from The Fast Show. It's likely to hit screens early in 2001.
