Michael Sheen, in Toronto promoting The Damned United, has revealed a couple of tidbits of information about Tron Legacy to Coming Soon.

His role sounds more like a cameo than a fully-fledged character, since he only seems to be talking about one scene. "It's amazing because there's a lot of green screen," he says. Yes, thanks for that.

But apparently it's not all virtual: there's at least a modicum of physical set-building happening. "My stuff was mainly in this amazing set that they built because I'm a nightclub host, so they built the nightclub and there were hundreds of extras and it was one of those great scenes where there's just loads going on."

Sheen also says that the FX have already evolved from the showreel / teaser released a while ago: "[Director] Joe Kosinski now says that he doesn't like people seeing that because it's moved on so much from that, and that looks awesome!"

We'll have to wait until December 2010 to see how Tron turns out, but Sheen fans can content themselves with New Moon in the meantime, where he plays vampire overlord Aro. He knows he's not in Eclipse, but he thinks he might be back for Breaking Dawn...
