A Journal For Jordan

Michael B. Jordan has been on something of an action kick of late, with the likes of Without Remorse. But we know he also shines when it comes to straight drama. And with Denzel Washington directing an inspiring based-on-truth-story, A Journal For Jordan, the combination of the two is certainly compelling. See the first trailer...

Mudbound Oscar nominee Virgil Williams wrote the script, which chronicles the story of Sergeant Charles Monroe King (Jordan), a soldier deployed to Iraq who begins to keep a journal of love and advice for his infant son. Back at home, senior New York Times editor Dana Canedy (Chanté Adams) revisits the story of her unlikely, life-altering relationship with King and his enduring devotion to her and their child.

Robert Wisdom, Tamara Tunie and Jalon Christian are also in the cast for the film, which will be in US cinemas on 22 December before heading across to the UK on 21 January next year.
