The three Wisconsin men who stole a print of The Phantom Menace days after it opened in the US have been ordered to pay a &7,400 fine as well as spend five days in the slammer. Charles Phillips, 22, and brothers Mark Stearns, 22, and Matthew Stearns, 25, pleaded guilty to the charge of misdemeanour theft. The trio had filched the print from a cinema in Menomonie three days after TPM opened, but being big Star Wars fans, they had really intended only to give themselves a private screening of the film.
