James Bond is so-ooo over. The British hero that's set to take over from 007 as our favourite big screen smoothy is none other than Dan Dare - the comic book hero beloved of British schoolboys. A British company, Dan Dare Corp, which has already produced a $20 million cartoon series based on the comic's character now has 'advanced plans' to make a Dan Dare feature film, according to Variety. There's no word yet on who will play the film's dashing lead - but the cartoon series includes the voice talents of Robbie Coltrane, Tim Curry and Charles Dance.
