Writer/director Michael Winnick has been gathering a solid cast for his indie thriller Guns, Girls and Gambling. And now, according to the Heat Vision Blog, he’s adding a slightly fresher face to the mix with actress Megan Park{ =nofollow}.

Park, whose cinematic CV includes Diary of the Dead and Charlie Bartlett, is currently to be found appearing on US TV show The Secret Life of the American Teenager which is not, as you might suspect, a reality, show.

She’s been hired to up the “girls” quota in the film, since the cast already includes Gary Oldman, Dane Cook and Christian Slater.

The plot has a group of characters searching for a priceless Native American artefact, which is pinched during a poker game at a casino. Those involved include Elvis impersonators Oldman and Slater taking part in a competition, a corrupt sheriff, a tall blonde assassin and a prostitute.

Winnick is shooting the movie right now in Utah.
