In a week of denouncing stereotypes, Meg Ryan has announced that she's fed up of the roles that made her famous. In the new issue of Vanity Fair magazine the loveable girl-next door tells us that that image image is precisely the one she's fed up with.

Talking about her hit movie You've Got Mail - which paired her once again with Tom Hanks - she explained, "I have to say that You've Got Mail was not any kind of stretch for me.
