Ian McShane will swap his foul-mouthed Deadwood persona for that of a hard-to-please stepfather in Paramount’s previously announced comedy Hot Rod.
The film will star Saturday Night Live and Lonely Island team Andy Samberg and Jorma Taccone, with fellow SNL/Island member Akiva Schaffer directing. Samberg plays a clumsy daredevil trying to impress McShane and emulate his hero with a jump across the dangerous Snake River.
