Mr Tumnus is going from the fantasy world of Narnia to the dark, dramatic world of Ian McEwan’s brain.

James McAvoy has signed up to join Keira Knightley in the adaptation of Atonement, McEwan’s 2001 novel. McAvoy will play Robbie Turner, who is accused of rape by a 13-year-old, an event that affects his entire life, including his relationship with Knightley.
