Filmweb has the first trailer for Max Payne, an adaptation of a computer game starring Mark Wahlberg as New York cop trying to solve a series of murders and come to terms with the killing of his family. Mila Kunis co-stars as an assassin avenging her sister's death. Watch it here. Also, please note that in Poland the film is quite marvelously called Maxa Payne'a.
All looks very stylish. It's difficult to tell what's really going on, but director John Moore's put together some very attractive images. The winged things are somewhat confusing. So, we must of course ask the question: Will this be the computer game that actually makes a good film? Discuss.
