Well there are many ways of describing Martine McCutcheon and her thespian talents, but the phrase 'method actress' probably wouldn't be one of first ones that sprung readily to mind. However, the former Eastenders actress who next pops up as a tea lady in Richard Curtis's Love Actually yesterday admitted that she did go all 'method' on Hugh Grant when filming their kissing scenes in the movie. 'I thought I would go for a bit of method acting,' Martine told The Evening Standard, admitting that she demanded retakes of the kissing scenes, even slipping a sly snog. 'There were tongues on some takes,' she laughed. 'When the director asks for tongues, you must give the director tongues.'
