David Cronenberg has locked in the leads to help bring to life his adaptation of Don DeLillo’s intriguing novel Cosmopolis: Colin Farrell and Marion Cotillard.

Cosmopolis’ story takes place almost entirely within a limousine as a billionaire (Farrell, who apparently can't turn around without being cast in something this week) makes his way slowly through a city. We follow him through a chaotic period as he cheats on his wife (Cotillard), is stalked by a stranger and slowly loses his massive fortune. Oh, and it all happens in 24 hours. Can’t wait to see what the director has planned to make it work cinematically.

According to The Playlist Nation, Cronenberg originally planned to get working on the film this year, but that slot has been taken instead by psychoanalysis drama A Dangerous Method. And there’s still Eastern Promises 2 with Viggo Mortensen to find time for too…
