Just when you thought there wasn’t a facet of the media that those Bratz dolls hadn’t conquered, along comes news that they’re making a movie.

Well, not the dolls, but producer Avi Arad, who clearly wishes to get back to a simpler life (or at least an earlier part of his career) in making a movie based on the annoying product placements.

"One of my first loves was the doll industry," Arad told Variety. "Bratz allows me to revisit the girl's business. The Bratz attitude and character will make an exciting and inspirational live-action feature."

So far, all they have is a script, which is being written by John Doolittle. Its imaginative title? Bratz. The campaign starts here to have Adam & Jo create their own version, starring all the usual campy action figures and a bucket of hot acid.
